Perfect honeymoon – travelling out on Feb 14th 2011 after the long flight, we had the exciting seaplane transfer which was fantastic and a very exciting way to arrive. The other highlights in our perfect honeymoon were definitely the snorkelling (turtles!!), the attentive staff and the food. It didn’t rain once in the whole 11 days we were away and coming over from UK in February, all that sunshine was such a tonic.

I can’t say if Medhufushi should be four star or five star or six star since I have nothing to compare it too. All I can say is that it was perfect in every way – location, weather, food, service (treated like royalty). Thanks to Rob at Holidays Please for arranging it for us. We went all inclusive which seemed like the best way since there was no worries about drinks bills !

Went here 2011 (Jan) – very clean, good staff (we had 2 children so child friendly). Pool does get quite busy and as with other resorts some families do not keep their children in tow! Food good and accommodation adequate. We have been to 4 other islands too and this one is good value for money – if you want very quiet with top quality food you really do need to dig deeper in your wallet :0)

AVOID like the plague, it’s dirty, rat infested and the restaurant staff need a big shake up. Sat for three evening meals without a drink and you can’t go to the bar and get your own. Unless they do this island up and sort out their staffing issues it’s not worth the money you pay.

Absolutely beautiful island. Rooms are brand new, very modern and very clean. Service is second to none. Early mornings you can see the Dolphins swim past, couldn’t get any more perfect. Fantastic holiday will absolutely go back to this resort.

We spent our honeymoon at Fiha in a water bungalow for 2 weeks. It was fantastic. The rooms were perfect every day, the island was kept immaculatley clean and all the staff couldnt be friendlier or do more to help. The food was varied and plentyfull, the scuba and snorkeling was great and the instructors if you need them are fantastic for first timers.
I cant wait to return to the island and use First choice again as they certainly looked after us well.

Best holiday ever! We went to the Sun Island Resort for two weeks in March. It’s exactly as it is in the brochure – turquoise seas, white sands and you couldn’t fault the weather. The diving is excellent with reefs close enough to swim out too and plenty of diving excursions away from the island if you feel more adventurous. There was a wide variety of meals at the buffet restaurant – something to suit everyone. Definately recommend upgrading to All Inclusive (due to the cost of drinks) and taking the sea plane transfer. Would go back at the drop of a hat!
